FGet .io

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how fget.io ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our website.

1. Our principle: minimal data

fget.io is free and designed to work without accounts. We do not require you to register, log in, or provide personal information. We do not store the URLs you submit, the content you download, or any download history linked to you.

2. Information we collect

The only data processed by fget.io comes through standard web-traffic tools:

  • Google Analytics — to understand aggregate site usage (page views, general location at country level, device type, referrer). Data is processed with the privacy protections Google offers, including IP anonymization where applicable.
  • Google AdSense — to display advertising that helps fund the service.
  • Standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps, retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other directly identifying personal information through the tool itself.

3. Cookies and advertising

fget.io uses Google AdSense, which may set cookies to serve ads.

  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

We use Google's built-in Consent Mode (integrated with AdSense) to collect and respect consent signals from users in regions where consent is required (EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland) before personalized ads or analytics cookies are used.

For more information on how Google handles data, see Google's Privacy & Terms: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

4. How we use information

We use the limited data described above only to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the service.
  • Measure aggregate traffic and performance.
  • Serve advertising that keeps the service free.
  • Prevent abuse and protect the security of the site.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except as necessary to operate the services above (Google Analytics, Google AdSense).

5. Your rights (GDPR & similar laws)

If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or another region with similar privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we process about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of such data.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Withdraw consent (via the consent interface shown by our advertising partner).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Because we do not collect accounts or identifiers from you directly, requests typically relate to Google Analytics/AdSense data — in which case Google is the relevant data controller or processor for that information.

To contact us about privacy, email [email protected].

6. Children

fget.io is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age under local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Data retention

Server logs are retained for a short period (typically up to 30 days) for security purposes, then discarded. Google Analytics and AdSense data retention is governed by Google's policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
